The Purpose of the bill
The Big Beautiful Cabinet Act (BBC) was posted yesterday by bobux member miccael to reform the Ministers and their Ministries.
In the notable changes we have the Ministry of Activity that become the “Ministry of Social Affairs” and the creation of a Chief of Staff
This bill also delete the Associates Ministers by now calling it “employees”
The Victorian Revision
The Prime Minister made her own revision of the bill which modify some parts of this act like the Chief of Staff to remove complexity and bureaucracy to the cabinet.
It has been written to be more concise and more clear legally
We can also note that the Minister of Agriculture is not mentionned there but another law guarantee his existence so it will not be removed from the cabinet
What will happen ?
Right now the Original version is being debated in the House with the Victoria bill’s being contested by Bobux.
Miccael defended his choice to add a Chief of Staff with “creation of the CoS which is like the cooler version of MWP”, the Minister Without Portfolio is also present on the two versions of the bill
He also said that to boost implication of the ministries this act will let the option to the Ministers to make their own Ministry server.
He also said that DoC will be codified in an future bill that will be posted when BBC will pass
Finally this bill has been made after the failed attempt of OTR to reform the Cabinet with the “MRA“
