A Big Number of Candidates
The Candidacy period ended yesterday and we have an astonishing 13 candidates.
Multiples parties have multiple candidates like Volt, OTR, and Bobux.
This brings the issue of the votes dividing between the party candidates. For a party like Volt, who is small, multiple candidacies can either get them 2 seats or none.
The number of candidates also show that we might have a 5 seats Senate again after the 3 seats Senate we had last election.
The candidates are quite strong this election :
We have current SML Vic, Senator Bob, Legislator Miccael, Former Senator Carton, and Volt Leader Caden.
But who will have the control of the Senate?
There are multiple scenarios:
Firstly, the Bobux Scenario, a Bobux controlled Senate that will be pro-economy and will pass every Government bill.
Secondly, the OTR Scenario, the Right controls the Senate like last terms and block bills like economy or the Manifest Destiny Act.
And finally, the No Control Scenario, no one controls really the Senate and a coalition is made. But we can’t say how it would be. Maybe a Volt-HD, Indie-HD-Bloc or a Bloc-Volt-HD scenarios is possible.
